Social networking butterflies may now flutter their wings! For those who like to be socially active day in, day out, Nokia has just announced two new mobile phones, the Nokia C3 and the Nokia C6. Designed with style in mind, the new devices bring forth better messaging and social networking tools.

The new C3 and C6 handsets feature a full QWERTY keyboard, and enable access to a range of different email accounts, IM communities and social networks. Users can now view, comment, update their status and share pictures to their favorite social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

The Nokia C3 boasts of the Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat, allowing social bugs to set up email and chat accounts straight from their mobile phone, without the need for a PC. Other highlighting attributes include Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera, rich color 2.4-inch screen and support for up to 8GB memory card. The enticing C3 paves the way in a variety of bright colors, including golden whiten, slate grey and hot pink.

The Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 are made for just that,” stated Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia’s Head of Markets & Services.

Further, the Nokia C6 phone is a Symbian-based smartphone conjugating the benefits of a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a full slide out keyboard. Equipped with a large screen, the device allows users to enjoy an amazing Internet experience. Perfect for users who want to stay up to date while on the go, it includes a full suite of email and social networking capabilities. For photography enthusiasts, the C6 flashes a high quality 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. Additionally, there’s Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation.

The Nokia C3 and Nokia C6 are anticipated to hit the shelves in the second quarter of 2010 with a price tag of €90 (approx Rs. 5,440) and €220 (approx Rs. 13,300), respectively.
