Nokia Asha 502 is now up for grabs in India for Rs 5,739

Although the Asha 500 and 503 haven’t made up their minds to enter India as yet, the Finnish manufacturer has decided to roll out the Nokia Asha 502 which can now be purchased for Rs 5,739. Apart from the official site, some e-retailers such as Snapdeal have also put it up for sale and it costs Rs 5,939 through the shopping portal.

As you may already know, the feature-rich phone comes encased in a crystal clear casing and flaunts a 3-inch touchscreen that is said to be capable of rendering visuals in 320 x 240 pixels. Interested users have the option to choose between shades like red, cyan, yellow, black, green and white. It offers internet access and WhatsApp has also been made available for the gadget.

The device doesn’t have a webcam so you may not be able to make video calls, but there is a rear-facing fixed focus camera that has a 5MP lens, LED flash and the ability to capture good-quality videos. It even keeps you entertained all times, thanks to the built-in music player and FM radio.

And what’s more, a couple of essential sensors have been deployed on the Asha phone and you can look for turn-by-turn directions as it has GPS. There’s Wi-Fi too for internet access and Bluetooth for transferring data instantly to compatible gadgets. The company says that its 1010mAh battery can cough up the juice for talk time of about 13.7 hours in the 2G mode.
