Just a couple of days back, the BlackBerry Curve 3G made it to Canada through Mobilicity. The carrier has just added another device to its smartphone kitty, the Nexus One by Google. Operating on the Android 2.2 Froyo, this beauty flaunts an attractive slim form factor.

It incorporates Google enhancements like Google Earth, Gmail, and live desktop wallpapers to offer users a plethora of functionalities. Spotting a 5 mega pixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, this handset adorns a wide 3.7 inch touchscreen display. In order to ensure that all the features run seamlessly, the device is loaded with a 1GHz Qualcom Snapdragon core processor.

As it offers a myriad of attributes, multitasking is a necessity. Thus, the Nexus One is capable of running online applications, 3D graphics, and other programs in the background without slowing down. Furthermore, the device equips Google’s voice-activated keypad – voice recognition software. This transforms speech into text that can be included in emails, social networking updates and messages. It even proffers a built-in GPS and mapping apps.

The Nexus One will retail for $549.99 in select Mobilicity retails stores. Users can activate any Mobilicity unlimited talk plan, priced $20, for unlimited data.
