Trimble brings a new version of its Trimble Outdoors application for Android users. This new version is a simple and easy to use navigation tool for outdoor enthusiasts to reach their destination, explore new ones and also share their experiences with the Trimble Outdoors Community.
Last month, Trimble has introduced the AllSport GPS application, a fitness app for Android users. The enriched Trimble Outdoors application transforms users’ devices into powerful GPS navigation units. It claims to be an ultimate app for adventure-freaks who often go hiking, fishing and backpacking.
“It’s been very exciting to incorporate our customers’ feedback into this new Android version of Trimble Outdoors. We believe our existing and new users will love the cool features in this release and use their Android phones to navigate the outdoors and capture their journeys, whether it be a quick day hike or a cross country road trip,” said Larry Fox, director of business development for Trimble Outdoors.
The Trimble Outdoors application promises to deliver best-in-class GPS capability alongside reliable content including maps, photos and more. Users can share their memories in the form of pictures, voice recordings or videos with others through the Trimble Outdoors website or its Facebook app. It provides an easy to use interface and direct access to online content.
Trimble Outdoors can be downloaded on Android devices via Android Marketplace and Trimble Outdoors website with one-time purchase of $9.99. Android users can later upgrade it for free.
