New Samsung W9600 Projector Phone uncloaked

Samsung Texas Logo Users who have been endlessly hunting for a phone with the capability to share large, unrivaled native DVD images with great facileness may now pause for a moment. Offering an ideal solution, Samsung has recently revealed the new projector phone dubbed the W9600. Embedded with projection in a compelling form factor, the device features Texas Instruments’ new DLP Pico WVGA Chipset to project stunning native DVD images.

Its integrated pico projection feature considerably lends an assisting hand in removing the limitations of the phone screen by proffering ‘big picture’ viewing experience for sharing pictures, watching videos, playing games, and even giving presentations. In fact, any content can instantly be projected whether it is stored on or streamed to the phone.

“Building upon the excitement and success of our W7900 projection phone in Korea last year, this new phone transforms the mobile phone experience, giving users the capability to share large, stunning native DVD images from the palm of their hands,” stated David Noh, vice president at Samsung Electronics. “We continue to transform the limitations of mobile viewing to provide complete mobile office and entertainment solutions that enhance people’s lives.”

Enshrouded in a lightweight and compact design, the W9600 is executed to be capable enough to display images in excess of 60 inches depending on ambient light conditions, all with immense ease. Other highlighting specs include a 5-megapixel camera, high-resolution color Amoled touchscreen, intuitive flick navigation to view presentations and photo slide shows, and ultra-contemporary sleek, lightweight design.

For now, the pricing and availability details of the new Samsung W9600 projector phone are quite foggy.
