Airtel prepaid mobile subscribers can enjoy extra benefits through a new offer by Airtel Digital TV. Bharti Airtel has rolled out a new offer called Magic Dekho, Talktime Pao for its prepaid mobile subscribers on its DTH service.
Through this offer, Airtel’s prepaid customers will obtain 1000 minutes of local Airtel to Airtel talktime on buying a digital TV for Rs. 2,000 with 3 months of the Super Value Pack. Customers residing in the South will get 750 minutes Airtel to Airtel local talktime if they purchase a digital TV for the same price with 5 months of the South Value Pack.
Talking about the offer Mr. Ajai Puri, Director and CEO-DTH, Bharti Airtel explained, “Our offer of Magic Dekho Talktime Pao delivers on the promise we made at the time of the launch of our DTH service that is, to bring the benefit of a One Airtel experience to our customers and offer them loyalty benefits of being an Airtel customer. This exclusive offer for our existing Prepaid Mobile customers also gives us an opportunity to increase our share of the customer’s wallet.”
It simply takes three-steps to benefit from this offer. First, customers having a prepaid connection from Airtel need to buy a digital TV connection. They can then register the new connection by calling on 1800 102 8080 and share their prepaid mobile number. Within7 days of activation of the digital TV connection, the talktime amount is credited to the users’ Airtel Prepaid Mobile account.
The Airtel Digital TV makes use of the latest MPEG4 standard with DVB S2 technology. This TV has brought many innovative systems to the DTH segment in India like Universal Remote and Interactive Applications. The application enables users to book movie tickets, travel package, watch news and perform numerous other activities. The TV also offers Worldspace Satellite Radio that is free of advertising as an exclusive feature. It also provides 24 x 7 customer care by professionally trained service engineers in 8 different languages.
