According to the latest buzz, the international version of the new iPad will apparently operate on the AT&T LTE network in the U.S. Lately, there has been an air of uncertainty with respect to the network operator adopted by the fresh entrant.

Though initial reports revealed that this new slate will function on either AT&T LTE or Verizon LTE, there had been no official confirmation on the same. However, the latest update says that the tablet being sold in Europe will function on the AT&T 4G network in the U.S. Presently, it seems that the Verizon LTE network is carrier exclusive.

As mentioned on The Verge, those traveling to the US from Europe can optimize their new iPads to the aforesaid network by means of an appropriate SIM and plan. Among the main attributes of the slate are the 5MP iSight camera with 1080p video recording abilities and Retina display.

This new entrant sports a 9.7-inch display with 2048 × 1536p screen resolutions that aims to provide clear and distinct images. The slate which comes embedded with an A5X quad-core graphics chip, is touted to deliver about 10 hours of battery life.

Also, given the 4G LTE speeds capability incorporated by the device, users can expect quicker video streaming, web browsing and downloads. Notably, the Wi-Fi and 4G variant is also compatible with HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA 3G networks.
