New Facebook app unleashed for webOS

Palm Facebook App

Gregarious bugs should be smiling on hearing this bit of news. According to the Palm Developer Blog, webOS has recently received an all-new version of its Facebook application. A completely revamped version of the Facebook application has just gone live in the Palm App Catalog.

With the latest version, users can easily stay connected with their friends, share status updates, upload photos, check out their News Feed, and browse their friends’ photo album and profiles.

The enhanced app allows users to get their upcoming events and check their messages wherever they are. The app also equips other aspects of Palm webOS and Synergy, so users can instantly view Facebook information from the Contacts app, or use the Photo app to upload directly to Facebook.

The enhanced inbox allows users to compose, send, and reply, so they can always access their Facebook messages. In fact, users can view photo albums from all their friends, not just the photos in their news feeds. Uploading photos has just got easier. The app also features the ability to add captions.

In addition, one can view users’ profiles, view and post to their walls, view their information, and see their photo albums. At the same time, the Friend Search feature helps users find their friends.

Well, Palm owners can go ahead and try the app.
