Available as a free download for Android and iOS devices right now is Call+ which specializes in letting you place free calls to mobile phones as well as landlines. Normally for such apps, there’s a catch hidden here and there, but the makers of this one have tried their best to not give you any.
That’s because you can make unlimited voice calls to mobiles as well as landlines without dipping into the plans active on your SIM cards. And moreover, while such services are mostly available only in the US, Call+ takes a total of 85 countries under its large umbrella. These include India, Bangladesh, the US, the UK, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and more.
While some apps assign you disposable numbers to be shown on the caller IDs of the people you call, this one chooses to show your real number. Moreover, unlike other similar apps that need both the involved parties to have that particular app installed on their handsets, Call+ does not necessitate this.

As has been pointed out by CNET, you can make unlimited free calls to anyone in the continental US and landlines in Mexico, China and Brazil. But you’ll have two different options if you wish to call a different country.
While one will need you to buy unlimited-calling service for rates such as 99 cents for one day, $1.99 for two days and $19.99 for a month, the other will have you participate in various ‘partner’ offers in order to earn the credit. These will include signing up for certain services, completing surveys and more such activates.
Call+ is now available for Android as well as iOS devices through the Google Play store and the Apple App Store, respectively.
