NetXcell introduces Ad Axis contextual advertisement platform for mobile phones

NetXcell Ad Axis NetXcell, a Telecom Application Services revealed about their soon to be launched AD Axis. Ad Axis is a comprehensive platform to deliver targeted contextual advertisement on mobile phone. These can be used by the advertisers, publishers and operators. It will be launched later this year. Ad Axis will enable the advertisers to reach their target audiences at any point of time through discount coupons that can be redeemed at the store just by showing the sms, a clip or song in WAP portal etc.

The Ad Axis will support various delivery mediums like WAP, Streaming Video, Voice Portals, SMS, USSD and MMS. The algorithm is built in such a way that it generates business intelligence depending on the usage by the subscribers which in turn help advertisers and publishers. Ad Axis integrates with the billing systems of the telecom operators.

“We expect NetXCell to see tremendous success with the launch of Ad Axis. We are confident of reaching a wide customer and operator base through Ad Axis and are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with not just the mobile operators but the media Companies as well.” said, a senior spokes person from NetXcell. “Mobiles are ‘constant’ companions to us today and thus your advertisement is almost guaranteed to be seen in a reasonable service, an SMS on discounts of certain brands when amount of time once the user receives it” he added.

NetXcell is said to launch the product in October in India and US. The company will ensure its smooth functionality by running a pilot product for two months. Ad Axis will enable mobile commerce, mobile marketing and social networking as its key products. It seems to provide ample of opportunities in mobile advertising, with a $10 billion market by 2010.
