Netflix upgraded to stream video from iPhone

Netflix App 1.1.1

The original Netflix iPhone app streamed to the iPhone back in the month of August this year. With this software, users could view their favorite movies or TV episodes streamed from Netflix right on their iPhone. Operating both on Wi-Fi and 3G networks, it systematically categorized episodes and movies according to popular genres, new arrivals, user’s personal preferences, and instant Queues.

The same Netflix application has now been upgraded to version 1.1.1. So what does the latest upgrade have in store for iPhone 4 owners? Like all other app updates this one too brings on bug fixes with an additional feature. Till date users could only view these videos on the iPhone, but from now onwards they can stream them to a larger screen, probably one of those beautiful HDTVs residing in the living room.

iTunes displays that the app now supports video out on iPhone 4. Apparently, it is said that using an Apple Component AV cable will instantly stream videos to iPhone owners television sets. The updated version of Netflix is available free of cost from the App Store.
