The iPhone has accumulated a lot appreciation since its evolution and has a wide array of interesting, exciting apps mainly designed for the device. Navmii has released its enticing NavFree USA which touts to be a community-based navigation app for the stunning iPhone.

Owners can seamlessly navigate without any interruption. The company shares that over 7,00,000 mobile buffs across the U.K. and Ireland have downloaded the free GPS/satellite navigation app.

Peter Atalla, CEO of Navmii, commented, “NavFree has been a huge success in the UK and the most exciting part is the user community, who feedback information on their local area to improve the map data for everyone. With Navfree USA we have taken these social features even further, making it easier for people to navigate to places and their friends, for free, forever. And with the maps being stored on your iPhone or iPad you won’t need to rely on mobile network coverage to navigate.”

The app enables users to quickly search various addresses and point-of-interests, and access Google location search. These locations are intuitively routed to the user’s desired location with complete voice directions. Further, the newest app will re-route automatically whenever the user takes a wrong turn, provide details on the journey distance and estimated time of arrival. In addition, the maps are integrated on the device.

This new app can be downloaded from iTunes for no extra charges and is anticipated to be available in Europe and for the Android platform soon.
