A new software update will be received by Nokia N900 and N810 users. According to the Mozilla blog, the company has launched the first release candidate of Firefox for Maemo.

The company offers unbranded Fennec desktop builds on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Users can utilize these if they don’t have a Maemo device or to assist in add-on progress.

This new update will come with plug-ins, the iconic Awesome Bar and a tabbed browsing. These new attributes are all set to augment the overall internet surfing experience. Enhanced texting and additional new hooks for add-on developers would also be seen with the new update.

The Company has claimed to tackle several N900 specific issues like installing or fixing the symbol picker.
