A partnership by leading handset manufacturer Motorola and imaging giant Kodak has given birth to Motorola’s latest camera-enabled handset. Dubbed as Motozine ZN5, the camera phone is all set to rock Indian mobile markets.
Ian Chapman-Banks, Motorola Inc.’s Corporate Vice-President and General Manager (Mobile Devices) for Asia, commented, “Today’s creative consumers not only want to be the photographer, but also the re-toucher, the exhibitor and the critic. With the Motozine ZN5, we allow people to unleash their power of curiosity, creativity, impulse and play, whenever the mood strikes.”
Motorola Senior VP, Worldwide Sales, Bruce Brda, further added, “India, which is adding over 9 million mobile users per month, offers great opportunity for us. The country also is important from the point of view of giving feedback on the latest models.”
Equipped with a high-quality camera specially designed by Kodak, Motozine is targeted at the youth and social networking user groups. The handset comes with an ultra fast five mega-pixel auto focus camera with Xenon flash. Along with a 2GB memory card and a TV-out cable for easy viewing of pictures on a television set, Motozine also has 4GB of optional external memory.
The innovative phone additionally boasts of optimized settings for low-light environments. It also comprises of Kodak Easyshare software and gives user’s easy access to the Kodak Gallery or other web sharing sites. With this access users can move pictures effortlessly off the device and also print, share and enjoy their favourite photos whenever they want.
The premier mobile phone to blend Motorola’s ‘ModeShift Technology’ and Kodak’s ‘Imaging Technology’, ZN5 takes connectivity of mobile imaging devices to an altogether new level with redefined quality and convenience.
Motozine ZN5 should hit the Indian mobile stores around mid-September at an estimated price of Rs. 20000.
