Motorola has designed its special Celestial edition Aura keeping in mind the ‘Moon theme’, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing. The rotator model offers an atypical round display.
The Motorola Celestial Aura phone offers some standard features like a 2 megapixel camera and a media player. It also offers Bluetooth wireless interface. Moreover, it supports 3G network connectivity. The handset presents exclusive video clips, photos, and audio from the Apollo 11 expedition.
The phone features a laser etched quote, “Motorola AURA Celestial Edition, honoring the Apollo 11 mission, 20th July 1969”, reports Engadget.
Furthermore, users can also hear from the first astronaut on the moon, Neil Armstrong. Motorola has envisaged the Celestial edition since the company’s radio transmitter was on board in the Apollo 11 and it was used to send messages to Earth.
The price of the Motorola Celestial Aura handset is not yet revealed, however it is supposedly more expensive than its predecessor.
