Motorola i9 Ferrari introduced by Nextel Brazil

Nextel Motorola i9 Ferrari Seemingly, Motorola is speeding towards glory, the mobile phone manufacturer recently teamed with Ferrari to unveil the Motorola i9 Ferrari handset in Brazil via Nextel.

The association of Motorola and Ferrari has previously brought to fore several handsets including the RAZR2 V9 Ferrari, the RAZR MAXX V6 Ferrari and the Z8 Ferrari Edition. According to Techfresh, this special edition clamshell has the Ferrari logo engraved on its case and offers several Ferrari wallpapers and screen savers. Apparently, ringtones that mimic the engine sound of Ferrari F40, F50 and Enzo are also included.

Reportedly, the Motorola device packages two QVGA displays, a 3.1 megapixel camera, external illuminated keys and push-to-talk service. Further, the Ferrari edition is equipped with GPS, Bluetooth and 2GB memory card in the box, which may be expandable up to 8GB. Seemingly, it comes with 2-inch external display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels and the main screen measures 2.2-inch and offers similar resolution.

The Motorola i9 appears to be a special edition of the Motorola Stature, which is already available for purchase in the United States, via wireless carrier Sprint and its subsidiary Boost Mobile.

The Motorola i9 Ferrari is retailed for around $688.
