Motorola Cliq XT software update officially unveiled

Motorola Cliq XTEarlier last month, we had reported that the Motorola Cliq received a software update. In March the company revealed the Motorola Cliq XT can be picked up from stores. Now according to the official T-Mobile forums, we see the company rolling out the official Motorola Cliq XT software update.

The latest update is set to unfurl as a two-part update process and would require users to complete both 1.31.43 and 1.31.44. The latter which is the latest offering brings consumers various tweaks to the issues normally complained by users. These include better overall phone performance, Bluetooth Audio, Visual Voice Mail improvements, Camera Correction and Screen/Display Performance. Other amendments also feature touchscreen and text messaging improvements.

The Motorola Cliq XT comes complete with Motoblur that offers consumer’s text messages, e-mails as well as updates from social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. All this can be acquired in one single widget on the homescreen for easy access.

The T-Mobile forum however made a special note to reveal that the upgrade was not the Android 2.1 update.
