Motorola Backflip with Android to hit Italy

Motorola Backflip Phone

The eye-catchy Motorola Backflip has for sure enjoyed a lot of appreciation from users across the globe. It might not be completely without buttons, but its QWERTY keyboard on the back of the phone that flips out still makes it stand out. After releasing the attractive handset in North America, China, and Latin America, Motorola is all set to release the Backflip in Italy, which is probably the first European country to get it.

The exquisite mobile device comes equipped with a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, Android 1.5 with Motoblur, full QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, GPS and Wi-Fi. Apart from these entrancing aspects, the phone features a 5 megapixel camera with flash, full HTML browser, 3.5mm headset jack, and social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter).

In addition, the Backflip brags about a new and unique Backtrack feature – a touch panel located on the back of the screen that allows users to scroll through Web pages, texts, e-mails and news feeds without touching the screen itself.

The Motorola Backflip will be available in Italy at the end of March 2010. The pricing details are kept under the wraps for now.
