After introducing itself to various parts of the world, the MOTO ROKR E8 phone made its entry into the Indian mobile markets as well. The MOTO ROKR E8 phone was presented by Motorola in a grand press event held at Mumbai, India yesterday.
Motorola’s Brand Ambassador (India), Abhishek Bacchan proudly held the phone on to his ear and showed us the glimpse of this sleek phone which is filled with a lot of innovative and latest features. Since it is a music phone, to power up the music environment, percussion specialist Taufiq Quereshi and his troupe welcomed the phone with the sound of the drums.
With a promise of delivering delightful music, the MOTO ROKR E8 phone presents its variety of features. The phone wishes to stand out differently with its ModeShift technology which converts the phone into a music player or imaging device with just a touch of a button. The other feature the phone speaks highly about is its FastScroll navigation wheel which scrolls through quickly and efficiently through songs, contacts and image library with just a slide of a finger.
The phone does not have any hard buttons, instead uses smart feather touch buttons and haptics technology that responds with a tactile response when a virtual key is pressed. The MOTO ROKR E8’s Crystal Talk technology allows users to get outstanding call clarity even in a noisy environment which is a must on traffic-filled roads. With a package of 2 GB internal memory and optional external memory support up to 4 GB capacity, the E8 offers a gigantic storage space; where the 2 GB internal memory can store approximately 1500 songs.

Another interesting feature of the phone is its ‘Music ID’ which listens to the tune from any other device like a mobile phone, television, etc and its searches for the same tune from the Moto Music Store and plays it on the phone. Motorola also flashed their latest launch, Moto Music Store which provides access to huge range of Music tracks. The Moto Music Store has more than 3,50,000 songs, which includes various genres of music ranging from rock, jazz, classic, dance, world music and so on.
While you enjoy the music concert, if you feel the need to click pictures, enjoy taking pictures with the MOTO ROKR E8’s 2 Megapixel camera which features 8x zoom, multi-shot feature, video capture and playback.
