After Gresso embellishing the iPhone with a case made from African Blackwood, mobile enthusiasts are treated to one more interestingly luxurious device. Well, Mobiado launches the Classic 712 Executive model, fabricated with exotic wood. Representing nature and technology, the phone depicts an exceptional design and hand crafted sophistication. The authentic wood available in the handset possesses high durability, strength, value and rare beauty.
The phone evokes the tri-union of avant-garde technology, contemporary aesthetics and timeless appeal. It is a combination of authentic wood, aluminum and sapphire crystal enhancing its usability. The exotic wood is decorated into an anodized aluminum frame and is connected to a solid wood top. Created from aircraft aluminum, the frame builds a strong and stiff phone yet keeping it light weighted. The polished or glass-beaded handset sports an anodize cover that generates a rock hard ceramic coating. Large sapphire crystal plates are accurately inlayed into the aluminum body for rugged usage.
The buttons are given a personalized touch as they are hand painted with black or silver color and are crafted from the same sapphire crystal. Finally, the phone has been bestowed with the iconic Mobiado logo which is CNC machine engraved. The handsets are available in four versions mainly Cocobolo, Ebony, Burl White, and Burl Black. The collection is a reference to the PRO EM models which were created by Peter Bonac in 2004.
In terms of features, the phone boasts of a large 2.2” QVGA display, 5 megapixel camera and video camera with flash. The handset will work on any GSM network operator and supports quad-band GSM (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) as well as triple band WCDMA Band I, II and VIII (2100/1900/900) for coverage on up to five continents. It is also integrated with GPS system. The device further packs in a web browser, email support and a music player that guides AMR, MID, MP3, MP4, M4A, .WMA and AAC files.
