Micromax unveils Canvas Selfie Lens in India

Micromax has extended its ‘selfie’ series with the new Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 which can be grabbed for Rs 8299. No prizes for guessing the type of audience the company is aiming for with this handset which sports a decent quality front facing camera for those who love taking photos of their silly mugs. The rest of the specifications aren’t too bad for the price it commands.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 has a 5-inch 720p HD IPS with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Sitting above it is a 5MP camera with an OmniVision image sensor and Largan Precision technology. Complementing this is a 8MP camera with a Sony sensor, Largan lens, auto focus and LED flash. The handset runs on Android 5.0, which means you don’t have to deal with KitKat and wait around hoping Micromax will offer an upgrade to Lollipop sometime in the near future.
