The New Year has brought good news along its way for the iPhone users and the good news is that MetaTools has decided to offer their game, MetaSquares for free. It is the first title developed for the iPhone by MetaTools.
MetaSquares is a puzzle game in which the computer challenges the player for a tough competition ahead. Take turns placing the pieces on the board to capture all the 4 corners of a square. The larger the size of squares you complete, more the points that you get. The squares can be created using the vertical and horizontal lines and even diagonally.
As a player you can enter an eight by eight board in which you need to create more squares than your opponents. Controls include tapping the screen, using gestures. Score 150 points before the computer does and have a 15 point margin for victory.
