Mercedes – Benz innovates with upgraded mbrace Mobile App for iPhone

Mercedes - Benz mbrace With each day passing by, users are increasingly turning to mobile devices in order to manage their lives from wherever they are. Now, Mercedes – Benz has put forth an upgraded version of its mbrace telematics platform that links the in-car navigation system in its vehicle with owners’ iPhone. The app enables owners to use their handsets to unlock their vehicles, locate their vehicles conveniently in crowded parking lots and find nearby or favored dealers among other services.

Users can effortlessly access Mercedes – Benz Concierge services while on the go, while the Concierge can access the owners’ location data efficiently to offer precise entertainment recommendations, restaurant locations, directions and traffic updates. What’s more, users can send desired location information immediately from the concierge to an in-vehicle navigation system.

The latest app enables users to store several accounts in the log-in screen and allot nicknames, thereby making it simple for them to access multiple mbrace accounts from one device. The Roadside Assistance has been advanced with the mbrace Mobile Application version 2.0, when a call is initiated the customer’s location data is transferred to the Roadside Assistance Centre.

Roadside Assistance Centre delivers quick and precise service whenever required. The convenience levels are further augmented as in situations when the vehicle may not be accessible, may not have power, or is in an unknown location, the app alerts users where exactly to send assistance.
