Complementing its existing lineup of mobile computing devices that are driven by Microsoft Windows CE 5.0, Maxatec is now planning to unveil its innovative Windows Mobile 6.1 powered HH 8010 mobile computing device.
The terminal features 2.8-inch touch panel and is equipped with standard WWAN connectivity via GSM/GPRS/EDGE (2.5G), Bluetooth or Wi-Fi capabilities as well as a barcode reader with HHP 2D imager. The HH 8010 comes as a kit for standard applications or can be used in vehicles. The kit is inclusive of neck lanyard, hand strap, mini USB cable and headset, mains charger or vehicle charger, battery and soft case.

We already provide products for a number of mobile computing applications in a variety of business areas, but to date we have been limited, as our offering has been based on Windows CE(R) 5.0. The addition of the Maxatec HH 8010 opens up a number of new areas to us and we can now satisfy the demand we are seeing from our customers. There is a plethora of mobile computing devices available on the market today, and we have therefore chosen the HH 8010 carefully so that we can compete with a product that is well specified and offers real value for money.”

The Maxatec device is IP65 rated and resistant to liquid and dust. It measures 136mm x 75mm x 27mm and weighs about 233 grams inclusive of battery.
Currently, the HH 8010 is offered in yellow or black color, other color options are also offered on request. The mobile computing device comes with a standard 12-month warranty.
