This new application will enable users to competently manage and widen their professional network. Nokia conversations has now revealed that Nokia has released the LinkedIn app for Symbian smartphones. Users can now effortlessly send and receive messages from their connections without any interruption. They can add new contacts, respond to invitations, browse profiles and view as well as compose status updates.

Offering an easy-to-use interface, this new solution includes a speech bubble icon on the top right which enables users to compose a status update which can be intuitively syndicated to Twitter. The Reconnect screen highlights individuals which the user may know, depending on the place they have worked and people they know. The results offered by the application are touted to be precise.

The Inbox section of the app offers a clutter-free interface. Users can tap a message to open it on the full screen and further reply, delete or save the message as per their requirements. The app was developed using Qt with the LinkedIn Platform, Nokia’s development toolkit to enable programmers to seamlessly access the network from external applications.

The LinkedIn app for Symbian smartphones can be downloaded for free from the Ovi Store.
