LG Vu 3 unveiled in South Korea, features a 4:3 display, Snapdragon 800 processor

The LG Vu 3 smartphone has been launched and it continues to adopt the squarish form factor just like its predecessors in the range. As of now, the handset has only been unveiled in South Korea and nothing has been revealed about its availability details in other countries across the globe.

While it retains the 4:3 aspect ratio, the company has obviously introduced some much needed changes like a larger multi-touch real estate and improved features. Complete with curved edges, the device that appears similar to the LG G2 arrives splashed in different shades. It is bundled along with a rubber rhodium stylus too, in order to make it easier for interested customers to jot down their ideas, take notes and navigate through the applications.

Coming to the specifications of the Vu 3, its front side is dominated by a 5.2-inch display as well as a physical home button. The HD+ IPS screen can be expected to have a wide viewing angle and it delivers visuals in a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. This gadget’s flip side plays host to a 13MP camera and it runs the Android mobile platform. Prospective users will be glad to know that the smartphone is compatible with the LTE-A network speeds and operates with the help of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

The LG Vu 3 phablet’s price details are under wraps, but it will be made available in the home country from September 27 itself through carriers like LG U+, SK Telecom and Korea Telecom. QuickView Cases that allow users to see notifications without opening the flap have also been unveiled for the smartphone.
