LG unveils GW525, GT505 and GM730 phones in India

These devices look similar to miniature computers. GW525, GT505 and GM730 embrace powerful processors, abundant memory, easy operating systems and social networking services. The LG GW525 is designed in a way that it facilitates users to enhance their social life. To improve them, the device includes social networks, email or SMS and IM. These attributes enable users to be in constant contact with their family and friends. An exciting new feature LiveSquare allows users to see their friends as an animated character on their homescreen. If one of them sends a text, then that character would announce that a message has arrived. So the user has to simply click on the image for the SMS to open. Moreover the handset comes in four dazzling colors.

Similar to GW525, LG GT505 also provides push social networking services, consumer push email and business push email through Microsoft Exchange Active Sync. Additionally, GT505 embraces a 3-inch touch screen and GPS functions which may make it the ultimate navigation handset. The device is preloaded with a 30-day free trial of ‘Wisepilot’. This feature is a turn-by-turn navigation solution with voice instruction. Wisepiliot also comes with 2D or 3D mapping to direct the user. Photo enthusiasts would be quite pleased to know that the handset offers a 5.0MP camera and images can be instantly put up on social networking sites. Speedy net connection is offered either by WiFi or HSDPA 3.6.

As for the LG GM730, the handset resembles the shape of a 3D cube layout. Grouping of the S-class UI of the phone with Windows Mobile enables users to use it effortlessly.
