The LG Star powered by Tegra 2 was initially spotted by Engadget with a 4-inch super AMOLED 2 touchscreen. Well, this beauty has popped up again in the wild. According to Phandroid, a member of AndroidForums has managed to get his hands on the LG Star (Star being its internal codename). The images show that the device has been fitted with an HDMI-out port.

It was speculated that the smartphone might be embedded with Android Gingerbread. However, these models appear to be operating on Android 2.2 Froyo, although there are still chances of it being stepped up before the release. berryjuice the member who posted the images on the forum claims that the Tegra 2 is living up to its expectations.

Earlier, there had been word that the handset will be fashioning an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p video recording and a front facing tiny camera. What’s more, the Star even bundles up microUSB connectivity, a 1500mAh battery and microSD memory expandability. Looks like more information about the LG offering is on its way, so stay tuned.
