All mobile companies are showcasing the best of its mobile phones at Mobile Asia 2008. Like Samsung, even LG displayed its next generation devices namely LG Viewty (KU990), KF600, KF510 and KS20.
Speaking on the interesting line-up for the year, Anil Arora, Business Group Head, GSM, LG Electronics India said, “This year LG will tighten our focus on creating products based on insight from our customers. We give equal importance to advanced features, multimedia capabilities as well as ease of use. Our new phones are a reflection of our commitment towards the same.
The LG Viewty (LG-KU990) incorporates professional-level 5-MP camera that includes features such as a manual focus option, an image stabilizer and an ISO up to 800 for indoor or night shooting etc. Also it is capable of capturing videos at up to 120 frames per second. Plus users enjoy advantage of uploading these videos directly on YouTube. A 3.0-inch touch screen and Mobile XD engine, stylus are some of the other features of the Viewty.
LG’s KF600 features InteractPad that replaces physical buttons with virtual navigation keys. LG claims that this InteractPad eliminates the need to memorize which key does what when using the phone’s 3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, video recorder and even when making phone calls or sending text messages. The KF600 phone is combination of style and functionality. Moreover, this phone has won a 2008 iF Product Design Award too.
The LG-KF510 is a slider style phone with extra slimeness. It comes in two colors schemes namely Dark Gray and Sunset Red. Phone’s LCD is equipped with power saving auto luminance control and is covered by tempered glass, which gives the phone a great sheen and lasting durability. Besides, the LG-KF510 has features such as camera with image stabilization, LED flash and red eye reduction, an MP3 player and the ability to record and play back QVGA video.
LG KS20 is a slim smartphone designed to enrich the mobile internet experience. . It features full internet browsing capabilities, and downloads everything from music and video clips to push e-mail at speed of 3.6 Mbps through HSDPA. It also allows for advanced features like video-conferencing, taking advantage of the phone’s dual cameras. Besides, the KS20 boasts Windows Mobile 6 software, an intuitive touch input technology and large LCD screen to maximize its internet usability.
