LG Rhythm music phone now through Alltel Wireless

LG Rhythm, AlltelWe must say that there are loads of application specific phones being shelled out these days. The latest phone to hit the block is a music phone called LG Rhythm and should come via Alltel Wireless. So get ready to march to the beat of a different tune.

A fashionable phone with a sleek design, the LG Rhythm is all set to qualify as the next generation Bluetooth music phone. On offer is a premium music player with Digital Signal Processing and a graphic equalizer professionally tuned by Mr. Mark Levinson.

According to Brian Ullem, vice president of device strategy for Alltel Wireless, “With the introduction of the LG Rhythm, Alltel remains dedicated to providing customers with entertainment-focused handsets and a world class wireless experience.”

Music-wise the LG Rhythm is packed with an FM transmitter that can easily stream songs to any receiver including a car stereo from up to 10 feet away and a 3.5 mm stereo headset microphone and all to let you easily toggle between music and incoming calls. The phone boasts of loads entertainment options with an MP3 player, 120 MB of internal memory and a dedicated music hot key along with 1” circular touch screen.

In addition to this the phone sports a 2” main LCD display screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera with zoom and camcorder, Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities, background music mode and a microSD external memory port for up to 16 GB storage support.

In either white or black hues, the LG Rhythm is now available through Alltel Wireless for $119.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two year service agreement.
