LG Prada II LG has disclosed their plans to unveil several luxury phones, with the inclusion of a new Prada design that is apparently positioned to dethrone Samsung from its current number two mobile phone maker in the world position.

According to SlashGear, LG’s mobile business president, Ahn Seung-kwon, says that although LG is currently at the number three position, they are going to reach the second place by 2012. The existing Prada phone had a new addition to the original phone’s capacitive touchscreen in the form of a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and also introduced a limited-edition matching Bluetooth watch which was launched way back in November, 2008.

Seung-kwon also stated that LG was going to launch a rival to the Nokia Vertu range with ‘extreme premium’ devices.
