The Korean page of the official LG blog recently posted a sneak peek video of the upcoming LG Optimus Vu smartphone. The company seems to like playing peek-a-boo with consumers considering that this handset follows close on the heels of the LG CX2 and the LG Miracle, all of which remain shrouded in mystery with little data about their specs being known.

According to Engadget which gained some information regarding the nitty-gritties of this forthcoming LG mobile device from Datacider, the smartphone will come embedded with a large 5-inch LCD XGA IPS 1024 × 768p touchscreen display featuring an aspect ratio of 4:3. It is most likely to run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS which could be updated soon after the release, to the new generation Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile platform.

The video posted on the official blog resembles the one which had been reeled out before the launch of the Prada Phone 3.0 by LG, going by the black background and the slick presentation of the sleek handset. It is reportedly powered by a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm APQ8060 SoC and may boast of an 8MP rear facing primary camera.
