Just a couple of days back, LG launched two new Optimus handsets via a live and interactive virtual digital news conference. While not much was known at that point of time, the company now dives into the mobile terrain disclosing all the various features and attributes housed by the LG Optimus One and Optimus Chic.

Both these LG phones offer users the ability to sync with Outlook Calendar and portable Wi-Fi hotspots. They also run on Android 2.2 and are noted to be optimized for Google Mobile Services like Google Maps with Navigation, Voice Search, Voice Actions, Shopper and Goggles. Furthermore, customers can take complete advantage of over 80,000 applications strewn across the Android Market.

“LG is offering the gateway into the smartphone world with the LG Optimus One and the LG Optimus Chic that offer the distinctive benefits of smartphones, in intuitive, approachable packages. LG has a vision of helping people access information fast and easily, no matter where they are. We believe the Optimus series will play a significant role in accomplishing our vision,” divulged Skott Ahn, CEO and president of LG Mobile Communications Company.

The LG Optimus One with Google incorporates an intuitive user interface and exclusive LG App Advisor as well as new accessories like the carkit cradle. Photography enthusiasts can capture their favorite moments through the camera with face tracking and smile shot capabilities and view them on the 3.2 inch wide HVGA screen. As the company suggests, it also boasts of a 1500mAh capacity battery.

The LG Optimus Chic provides owners with a comfortable grip with its curved lines. It also comes along with two-color variants and touch-sensitive buttons which add to the overall sleekness of the device. Users can expect to see the device enter this domain packed with a unique on-screen phone feature that lets them control it from the comfort of the PCs. The LG Air Sync offers the ability to wirelessly sync contacts, data and photos with a computer or cloud database. As the handset is compatible with DLNA, multimedia content can be enjoyed on AV systems, TVs and laptop computers.

The LG Optimus One is slated to hit most of Europe by next month with other EMEA and Asia-Pacific countries to closely ensue. The LG Optimus Chic on the other hand will enter Europe by November and other markets across the globe shortly after.
