The much-awaited LG Optimus G Pro has arrived in India, probably to build up on the success of its prequel which was introduced in the country in February this year. It was supposed to come to the subcontinent in June itself, but LG delayed it by a few days. Nevertheless, the handset is here and requires interested users to shell out a whopping Rs 42,500.
Capable of giving Samsung’s Galaxy Note II a run for its money, the device in question employs a 5.5-inch IPS FHD touchscreen of 400ppi capable of rendering visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution. It sits comfortably on a chassis measuring 5.91 x 3 x 0.37 inches and weighing in at 6.14oz. A 2.1MP webcam should come in handy for the purpose of making face-to-face conference calls, while a 13MP rear full HD camera can be utilized for capturing high resolution images and videos.
And what’s more, its primary snapper is accompanied by a number of other features such as Cheese Shutter, Time Catch Shot, dual recording, tracking focus, audio zoom, live effects, panorama mode, HDR, burst shot and many more. The driving force behind the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 with four cores, each of which clocks in a speed of 1.7GHz. And to help the chipset with the task maintaining smooth multitasking, the South Korean manufacturer has thrown 2GB of RAM into the mix.
The Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 OS has been tweaked with the company’s proprietary UI for an intuitive interface. Users may not have to look elsewhere for storing their digital content as the LG Optimus G Pro tags along 32GB of internal space. And if it is still not enough, they can choose to slip in a microSD card of up to 64GB capacity in a dedicated expansion slot on the handset.
The Optimus G Pro is slated to be made available in the nation soon for the aforementioned price.
