LG Marquee for Sprint arriving?

LG Marquee Sprint

Glimpses of what could be the LG Marquee for Sprint, which still rests unannounced, were spotted in a video from the Radio Shack Business Summit in Dallas, reports Android Central. The device is said to have a striking resemblance with the Optimus Black, released a while ago by the company.

The most noticeable similarity reported by the site includes the volume control and also the G button. Both embedded on the left, the G-button provided short-cut access to certain features in the LG Optimus Black, without having to disturb the user interface. Also, when the button is held down, the camera can be directly launched without having to manually unlock the phone.

For those who need to be reminded what the predecessor offered, it was a LG smartphone with Android Froyo originally. Powered by a single core 1GHz processor, it sported a 5MP camera on the rear while the front was occupied by a 4-inch screen with NOVA display, which promises better screen viewing and navigation even under the sun. On the other hand, judging by its appearance in the video, the Marquee is expected to offer Android 2.3 and more, while sporting a similar body and probably even display.

There is no word from the speculated network carrier on the issue yet as it has denied disclosing any information about the devices coming to Sprint.
