LG Logo It seems that the association of Canadian network carrier and LG will be fortified with the latest LG handset dubbed LG IQ which was recently spotted.

According to Engadget, the handset is driven by Windows Mobile 6.5 and claims to feature LG’s innovative S-Class UI. Apparently, the LG IQ also known as Monaco packages a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen display that delivers a resolution of 480 x 800. It seems that the LG mobile phone is equipped with a full 4-row slide out QWERTY keyboard and a whooping 1Ghz Snapdragon processor.

Seemingly, the LG IQ sports a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and video capabilities. The Windows Mobile driven handset may weigh about 127 grams with a 1500mAh battery. Probably, the touchscreen handset will offer support for Windows Marketplace for Mobile, allowing accessibility to free as well as paid apps.

Approximately, the dimensions of this touchscreen handset are 113mm x 55mm x 15.6mm. Some of the capabilities which are said to make this LG handset versatile include enhanced fingerprint security, Bluetooth 2.1, ability to run multiple applications simultaneously, e-mail, contact, calendar and GPS.

Reportedly, Telus is likely to launch this Windows Mobile 6.5 device for this holiday season.
