The Lenovo K900 will be taking a trip to China sometime in the month of April. The device was unveiled at the CES this month and the company has yet to reveal any details regarding its price and exact release date.
The existence of the IdeaPhone K900 has been verified, but even so, very little information has been given out. The handset may not flaunt the biggest screen amongst the phones revealed at the CES, however, it does hold onto a relatively large 5.5-inch display. Users will be able to take pleasure in wider viewing angles due to IPS technology employed by the panel.
The screen lies under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection to prevent it from bearing undesired scratches. The phone weighs 162 grams with a 6.9mm frame and the body is considered to be the thinnest in the series as per the manufacturer. This sounds like competition to the ZTE Grand S.
Speaking of the force that drives the handset from within, an Intel Atom processor has been built-in to contribute towards the performance. Those looking forward to buying the phone will have to make do with only so much information regarding the CPU as of now.
The company doesn’t disappoint us with regards to the embedded camera. A 13MP snapper stands shoulder-to-shoulder with a flash on the rear. It incorporates Sony’s Exmor BSI sensor in order to enable clicking pictures even in dimly lit conditions and also includes an f1.8 focal length lens.
The quality of the front-facing webcam hasn’t been disclosed, although it does come with its own set of attributes. It has been broadened to a viewing angle of 88 degrees. Users should be able to click self portraits as well as make video calls.
The Lenovo IdeaPhone K900 is bound to step out soon and make its way initially to China in April and then to other select regional markets. The OEM promises to reveal the exact price information on a later date.
