Lava Mobiles has unveiled its latest handset namely Lava M23 for the Indian market. This communicating device is claimed to be a perfect blend of entertainment and fun.

The handset is said to be designed to tap music buffs who look for the right gadget to match their whimsical demands and meet the ever-changing technological scene. It has a dual SIM feature with dual batteries and a TFT screen of 2.2 inches. The LCD resolution of the mobile is 176 * 220.

At the launch of M23, Co-founder & Director of Lava International, SN Rai commented, “Nowadays mobile phones are becoming a need more than a necessity, need of flaunting with the tech rich gadgets amongst good pals. And this kind of behavior has been seen generally in the youngsters. That’s why taking the market scenario and going through the needs of such instincts we decided to come up with a product that would cherish our youth.”

The phone is loaded with a MP3 player, enabling users to enjoy their kind of music. With an 850mAh battery, the phone offers a talk time up to 5-6 hours. A 2GB microSD card comes free of cost with the handset and the device also supports a T Flash card up to 8GB, allowing users to store more than 1500 songs.

“These instincts like listening music on the go while going to school, college or office. This was the vein which we tapped and came up with a handy solution of coming up with a phone that would deliver good quality music. With the beats of high quality music and other features, we are very sure that M23 would grab hold of the heart beats of all Indian Young Turks”, added Rai.

It also supports MP4 file format and the 65k color screen is claimed to add zeal to video playback. The digital camera with 1280 * 1024 pixels ensures that no exciting moments pass by without being captured.

Sophisticated and enhanced features like WAP and GPRS too have been packed into the Lava M23. Bluetooth connectivity offered by the phone can come handy for sharing files, music and videos. The A2DP profile of Bluetooth makes it possible for users to enjoy music on Bluetooth enabled headsets.

The device is equipped with an integrated FM radio facility and provides Hindi language services for those who want to add a ‘desi’ touch to their daily conversations. To complete to the whole gamut of offerings are a 3.3mm universal audio jack and a desktop charger.

The handset will be available at a price of Rs. 4, 449.
