Kideos iPhone App

On-the-go parents and kids may sound pretty enthusiastic to hear this piece of news. Earlier Media has recently revealed an all-new iPhone app that allows parents and kids to access Kideos’ extensive library of children’s videos.

The free app systematically groups kids’ videos by age range and puts them into popular categories such as Sesame Street videos, Barney shows and nursery rhymes. Users can now easily access all of the site’s great content, including the Top 10 Kids Videos of 2009, while on the go.

“Parents and kids love Kideos, and one of the things we always hear is that they’d like a way to take the experience with them,” explained Josh Solt, COO of Earlier Media. “With our new iPhone app, kids can enjoy their favorite shows wherever they want. Now, parents can tap into quality kids’ entertainment when doctors are running late, grocery shopping becomes a bore or car rides stretch on forever.”

In addition, Kideos brings well-renowned videos for children in a highly kid-friendly interface and a safe environment. The site has been referred to as ‘YouTube for kids’. To ensure great reliability, all of Kideos’ videos have been carefully vetted and approved by a Video Advisory Council comprised of parents and educators who thoroughly screen content before it appears on the site.

Further, once the Council reviews videos, they are placed under specific categories and sorted by age group. All this is taken into consideration of developmental criteria and recommendations from leading experts nationwide. The entire process ensures that the content on Kideos is appropriate, safe and entertaining for children.

Designed to be easy, the app enables children to navigate it on their own. Besides, kids can now watch their favorite shows easily and safely with a few simple taps.

The free app is now available to download.
