It looks like passing a driving test in the US may not be so difficult after all. Kentucky government and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet decides to help citizens of Kentucky in acquiring a driver’s license by coming up with an iPhone app namely the Kentucky Driver License Practice Test.

This iPhone app offers an enjoyable and communicative way to help study for the Commonwealth’s written permit exam. With this app, users can study the Kentucky Driver’s License Manual and attempt the new practice test. The application is intended to examine drivers on Kentucky’s rules of the road and assist in studying for the written test necessary to acquire a driver’s license.

Bill Heise, Director of the Kentucky Division of Drivers Licensing, commented, “Learning to drive and operate a motor vehicle is an exciting time in a young driver’s life, and it is both a privilege and a great responsibility. The Transportation Cabinet is excited to be able to help our new drivers build a strong foundation of knowledge that will make them safer drivers.”

The Cabinet’s decision to release an application in the iTunes store was propelled by the increasing popularity of iPhones with the youth population of Kentucky.

The Kentucky Driver License Practice Test can be downloaded for no charge via the Apple App Store.
