For those who are getting ready to give their exams and not feeling as confident about their vocabulary skills, then here’s some great news.
Kaplan Publishing, with the help of gWhiz, has introduced a new application for iPhone and iPod Touch users which allows you to improve your vocabulary while carrying out other activities.
The GRE Exam Vocabulary Flashcards app is especially made for students aiming for high marks in the verbal part of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
It contains more than 500 words and can be used both as a learning tool and a dictionary. In each flashcard, there is a definition, phonetic pronunciation, part of speech, synonyms, and an example of a sentence.
Kaplan Publishing has a strong tradition of adding productive tools and resourceful material to the iPhone. Previous applications that were launched by this leading publisher include Medical Terms for Nurses, NCLEX-RN Medications Flashcards and SAT Flashcubes.
