JayBird has pulled out yet another enticing offering from under its wings. The latest solution from the company would surely bring a sigh of relief for many iPhone users who listen to music via Bluetooth headsets. Well, JayBird has just announced the release of its Bluetrax! app for iPhone users.

The JayBird Bluetrax! app empowers users to click the play/pause button twice or thrice to remotely change tracks from their Bluetooth headsets. Since the iPhone misses out on the AVRCP remote music track controls for Bluetooth headphones, the Bluetrax! app enables iPhone users to skip or play tracks from their headsets. The application functions even when the screen is locked.

The operation of this app is also very simple and effective. The user needs to pause and then play the music again in three seconds, (which would be two single clicks and not a double click), while the music is playing and the app is open. Once that three second timer expires, the song will skip to the next track. By adding another pause before the timer runs out, listeners can easily get back to their previous song.

Apart from this, users can now practice on the command screens to perfect the timings. It also enables users to adjust the Sequence Time in order to increase or decrease the number of seconds in the process. Users of SB1 will have to increase the timer from three to five seconds as the response time of the headset is slower.

iPhone users need not plug in any new hardware to the phone to operate music through the headsets. Users can now simply pair their headset with the iPhone and open up the Bluetrax! app. The app works efficiently with any headset featuring a reliable play/pause button for the iPhone.

The JayBird Bluetrax! app is now available on the App Store for $4.99.
