A couple of days back the Jawbone Icon EarWear was spotted in four chic designer editions namely Cashmere, Denim, Mesh, and Suede. The company has now doffed the silk off its Jambox wireless speaker and speakerphone. Touted to deploy a complete spectrum of audio, this beauty has been stylishly done up and is available in four dazzling designs including the Black Diamond, Blue Wave, Grey Hex and Red Dot.

This audio solution can be paired with any Bluetooth device, be it mobile phones, tablets, iPods or computers. It lets users effortlessly stream and share movies, games, music, phone and conference calls. The speaker is said to integrate almost 40 years of acoustics research.

“Jawbone has been committed to providing the most advanced technology in compact and elegantly designed lifestyle products,” stated Hosain Rahman, CEO and founder of Jawbone. “JAMBOX is an extension of this commitment — we’ve combined cutting-edge innovations in acoustics and microcomputing into a meticulously crafted package. JAMBOX is not just a new kind of stereo speaker; it’s a whole new category of high quality mobile audio.”

With two highly powerful acoustic drivers and ultra-small dome, the Jambox boasts of delivering an audio spectrum nearly as wide as the human ear itself. These two function in concurrence with an airtight enclosure and moving-wall passive bass radiator. This helps it proffer excellent highs and massive low frequencies.

“JAMBOX exemplifies Jawbone’s obsession with ensuring that form is always integrated with function,” said Yves Behar, Chief Creative Officer. “It’s built totally differently from your typical speaker: All four sides are wrapped in a single grill to cut down on moving parts, achieving a strong, minimal form unlike any other speaker, while also making it highly durable.”

Jambox has been crafted with stainless steel and industrial-weight molded rubber casing. Due to its single-grill construction, the speakers are fully exposed augmenting the audio. Interestingly, the speaker can be upgraded with software, new features and applications through its MyTALK platform. It notifies users with details about the battery life, caller ID, call functions, among others.

Handset owners may also personalize the gadget with voice and language options. Jambox is said to be constantly updates with the latest technologies. Using the embedded professional-quality microphone, mobile enthusiasts can share conference calls wherever they are. Negating the need of docks or cords, this audio solution offers efficient portability.

Jambox has gone up for pre-order on jawbone.com with a price tag of $199. The device will make it to the Apple Stores and certain Best Buy outlets by November 16, 2010.
