iSixt iPhone App With the success of Sixt rent a car’s first iPhone application, iSixt now introduces its new release, the iSixt 3.0. The new iSixt 3.0 enables iPhone corporate and private users to select and reserve their choice of vehicle with a few clicks on their devices. Like the previous versions, the iSixt 3.0 offers full rental history and allows easy search of the nearest Sixt location with Google maps. The new upgraded app offers enhanced services for reserving cars and vans.

The iSixt 3.0 allows users to switch between private and corporate profiles easily without any hassle. Each user profile features a favorite booking function that automatically saves previous rental information. For faster reservation users only need to change the time and date of the rental.

“Since the launch of the first iSixt application in late 2008, which made us the first car rental company to develop an iPhone car hire reservation service, we have been focused on enhancing our offering to make renting from Sixt faster and even more user-friendly. iSixt 3.0 is part of our commitment to add value for our customers and improve the accessibility of our services,” Per Voegerl, commercial director, at Sixt.

Furthermore, car hire customers can also benefit from the new online check-in. This allows car hire customers to activate the rental till four hours before pick-up and choose their favorite vehicle from the wide range of cars offered. The new app incorporates the “Apple Push Technology” along with iPhone Google Maps functionality to provide car and van hires. For instance, customers in London can receive offers that relates to car hire in London.

Further enhancing the user’s experience is direct access to the Sixt rent a car Blog. It also assures that iPhone reservations are 10 percent cheaper than reserving a vehicle at a branch.
