Intex Aqua Star II HD smartphone with 8MP and 5MP cameras gets unveiled in India

Intex Aqua Star II HD smartphone has been officially launched in India carrying a price tag of Rs 6590. The Aqua Star II HD is a mid-range option which could make it a very attractive pick considering its low retail tag. At the same time, few would call it an alternative to the Redmi 2 from Xiaomi.

Of course, the Intex Aqua Star II HD isn’t as beefy as the latter, but it does come close. The phone is basically an upgrade to the Star II which was launched back in February. As suggested by the name, the biggest change in the new release is that it lands with an HD display and not a measly FWVGA resolution one.
