Among the large number of affordable Android-based smartphones coming from Indian manufacturers stand the newly unveiled Intex Aqua Life and Aqua Life II handsets. These dual SIM 3G devices look pretty identical from the outside owing to their same screen size, but they offer different specs to suit the needs of buyers.
The Intex Aqua Life can be yours for Rs 5777, while the Aqua Life II will set you back by Rs 5555. Both run the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and choose to display their visuals on a 5-inch 480 x 854 pixel monitor. Moreover, they pack the same 2000mAh battery inside their bodies as well. The difference in price is justified by the CPU-memory setup and the cameras.
The slightly higher priced Aqua Life kicks in a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582V/X processor that’s provided assistance by 512MB of RAM. But it includes just 4GB of storage which can of course be expanded further up to 32GB. This Intex phone is the better one among the two if its camera setup is to be looked at. An 8MP rear shooter and a 2MP front snapper have found their way onto it.

Coming to the Aqua Life II, this device offers a 5MP fixed focus main camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3MP selfie unit that’s accompanied by a flash for better low-light self-portraits. It runs on the combination of a 1.2GHz quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor and 1GB of RAM, while delivering 8GB of expandable storage.
We haven’t been told the exact availability details of the Intex Aqua Life and Aqua Life II smartphones, but you can expect them to hit retail stores in the coming days.
