INQ handsets to feature Opera Mini browser

INQ OPera Mini We recently reported about INQ unveiling two of its innovative Facebook dedicated handsets dubbed Cloud Touch and the Cloud Q for the social networking enthusiast. Opera Software has officially announced that its Opera Mini browser will soon be rolled out to INQ smartphones.

Several interesting features of the Opera Mini browser include tabbed browsing, speed dial and password manager. It provides users with the ability to easily synchronize bookmarks across multiple devices with Opera Link. This browser will come pre-installed on INQ handsets running the Android and Brew mobile platforms.

“At Opera, we are always trying to get our browsers on as many devices as possible, and we are excited to work with INQ and serve its customers,” shared Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.

The browser employs a distinctive compression technology that shrinks webpages by up to 90 per cent. This results in increased web browsing speed, even on slow networks further enhancing the overall surfing experience. Moreover, it leads to considerable cost savings for users paying according to their data usage.

INQ handsets featuring the Opera Mini browser will first be made available across the U.K. in March, and then followed by Australia and other countries.
