Foodies, chefs, and home makers can now carry those perfect recipes wherever they go. With the all new In The Kitchen App from Food Network, iPhone owners can access essential utility-based kitchen tools and Food Network recipes anytime, anywhere. It is loaded with 45,000 recipes compiled by Food Network chefs, which come with step-by-step guidelines and photographs.

What’s more seasonal menus are updated every month, whereas delectable Thanksgiving recipes have been included. Timers can be directly set in the app, these can also be accessed in the offline mode too. The online recipe box can be browsed and accessed from the app. Further, users can also add new recipes in the box from the app.

“The In The Kitchen App is the next step in expanding our role as a central resource for expert-tested recipes from America’s favorite chefs,” commented Bob Madden, senior vice president and general manager, FoodNetwork.com. “The app provides an on-the-go way for consumers to find Food Network recipes whenever and wherever they need them. This is one of many new digital products that we’ll be rolling out to entertain and delight our Food Network fans.”

iPhone owners can add-in the ingredients needed to be purchased from the recipes to their shopping list. These lists can be shared on Facebook, Twitter or via mail, and can be accessed in the offline mode. With the help of the unit converter, handset owners can convert measurements by simply swiping their fingers. The In The Kitchen App is the second app to go up on the App Store from the company, the first being the Food Network Nighttime. It is loaded with show recaps, programming schedules, and short form video.

The In The Kitchen App retails on iTunes for $1.99.
