IDBI Bank, teamed up with PayMate, is set to offer a Mobile Payments facility to over 3.5 million customers. IDBI Bank customers can avail a convenient, secure mobile payment that will deliver them an easy and a quicker service on their mobile phones.

PayMate Mobile Payment service is a free registration available to any IDBI customer, the customer’s Mobile number is linked with the bank account after he is registered then he is offered a secure Mobile Banking PIN, thereafter transactions starts. It ensures a firm security of the service. While the customer makes any payment, only his Mobile Number is shared with the payment receiver. Every time he makes a transaction he receives an IVR call from PayMate for his Mobile Banking PIN and once the transaction is over a confirmation message is sent on his phone.
