Hyundai Mobile recently announced the launch of a wristwatch-style phone called the MB-910. The innovative device weighs only 58g but it packs in various features and functions found in today’s new age phones.
The MB-910 watch phone features a 58mm x 44mm TFT touchscreen display with 132 x 176 resolution and 65K vibrant colors. The device supports tri-band and GPRS connectivity. It includes features like SMS, MMS, an e-mail client, video playback and music control.
The MB-910 watch phone supports Bluetooth connectivity and comes with a Bluetooth headset for handsfree calling. It incorporates an internal memory of 128MB and stores around 300 contacts.
“The MB-910 is the perfect marriage between cool functionality and classic looks. At this year’s Mobile World Congress it became something of a talking point and drew much attention to the Hyundai stand,”adds Graham Jelfs, head of marketing and communications for Hyundai Mobile UK. “For gadget lovers and mobile phone aficionados alike the MB-910 has the potential to become the ultimate, must-have accessory.”
Equipped with a 400 mAh battery, the Hyundai watch phone offers a talktime of upto 3 hours and a standby time of upto 70 hours. The WAP enabled phone will be available in silver color and measures 58 x 44 x 16mm.
The Hyundai Mobile MB-910 SIM-free watch phone is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2009 and will available at an estimated price of £200.
